Membership & Sales Manager

UBX is a global boutique boxing and strength concept delivering a 12-round, coach-led workout that combines boxing and functional training in a high-energy, inclusive environment. Our mission is to build strength, confidence and community through intelligent, results-driven training.
Alongside our core UBX sessions, we also offer Yoga and Pilates classes to support recovery, mobility, balance and overall wellbeing. These classes are a key part of our holistic training proposition and play an important role in member engagement and retention.
The Role
As Membership & Sales Manager, you will take full ownership of membership growth, sales performance and the front-of-house experience. You will be responsible not only for converting and retaining members, but also for actively promoting and driving attendance across all UBX offerings, including Yoga and Pilates.
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role blending sales leadership, people management, community building and operational responsibility.
Key Responsibilities: Sales, Growth & Revenue
- Own all membership sales targets, including new joins, revenue, retention and membership mix
- Manage the full sales funnel: enquiries, trials, conversions, follow-ups and referrals
- Ensure all leads (walk-ins, online, referrals and corporate enquiries) are handled promptly and professionally
- Lead local marketing initiatives, referral drives and community partnerships to generate new business
- Actively promote all class offerings - boxing, strength, Yoga and Pilates - to maximise attendance, engagement and member lifetime value
Member Experience & Engagement
- Lead and develop the Experience / Front-of-House team to deliver a welcoming, high-energy and inclusive experience
- Encourage trial participation and ongoing attendance in Yoga and Pilates as part of a balanced training routine
- Work with coaches and instructors to help timetable, position and promote Yoga and Pilates effectively
- Resolve member feedback and issues quickly, maintaining strong relationships and brand loyalty
Operations & Administration
- Oversee all membership administration, ensuring accuracy, contract compliance and GDPR adherence
- Monitor attendance trends, engagement and churn across all class types, taking proactive action where required
- Track and analyse sales, attendance and retention KPIs daily, weekly and monthly
- Produce clear performance reports and insights for the Club Owner / General Manager
Leadership & Duty Management
- Lead by example with professionalism, positivity and strong communication
- Act as Duty Manager when required, supporting day-to-day club operations
- Collaborate with coaches, Yoga and Pilates instructors to ensure high standards across all services
About You
Essential
- Strong sales experience in a KPI-driven, customer-facing environment
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
- Track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets
- Confident communicator, comfortable promoting classes and engaging members
- Highly organised, data-driven and commercially minded
Desirable
- Experience within boutique fitness, boxing, functional training, yoga or pilates studios
- Genuine passion for health, fitness, recovery and holistic wellbeing

Pay: £20,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
