Build Your Personal Trainer Career at Swinton and Pendlebury Leisure Centre, Salford

Swinton and Pendlebury Leisure Centre is hiring a self-employed personal trainer. You keep 100% of your earnings, start with 6 weeks rent-free, and get a full support package to help you build a sustainable PT business from day one.

Why work as a personal trainer at Swinton and Pendlebury Leisure Centre?

The centre's gym was newly refurbished in summer 2024 into an 86-station, two-floor space with state-of-the-art Matrix cardio machines, an expanded range of strength equipment and a dedicated spin area, alongside a 25 metre pool and a multi-purpose sports hall.

As a self-employed PT here, you get two full floors of freshly refurbished equipment to programme around rather than one crowded space, and you set your own schedule and run your business entirely on your own terms.

What does the self-employed PT package at Swinton and Pendlebury Leisure Centre include?

This role comes with a structured launch package to support you from your first day:

6 weeks rent-free at launch, one of the longest launch periods in the UK
100% of your earnings retained: everything you make, you keep
Instructor 2 Icon soft-skills training with Ben Shephard (£300 value)
Two CIMSPA-endorsed business courses, including the Advanced Business Course (10 CPD points)
Health Hero lifetime wellness access
Castore PT uniform (2 tops) and a £100 marketing voucher at launch
Unlimited one-to-one mentoring from your Regional PT Manager
Capped trainer numbers per centre, so client demand isn't stretched thin

How much can a personal trainer earn at Swinton and Pendlebury Leisure Centre?

Self-employed personal trainers working with YOUR Personal Training typically build to £2,500 to £4,500+ per month by month six, based on network data. You set your own session rates and keep 100% of what you earn, so income isn't fixed to a salary band. Swinton and Pendlebury sits within the Greater Manchester conurbation, close to Bolton and Bury; earnings figures are typical, not guaranteed, and depend on your rates, client volume and how quickly you build your client base.

Who can apply for this personal trainer role? You're the right fit if...

You hold a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification
You're based in or able to work regularly from the Swinton, Pendlebury or Salford area
You thrive in a gym environment and connect naturally with members
You're ambitious, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership of your business

Applications are welcome from newly qualified personal trainers and experienced PTs alike. Not yet Level 3 qualified? YOUR Academy's PT Career Accelerator guarantees a PT role on completion.
