1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Love Fitness Jobs website and job board (“the Site”), operated by Love Recruitment Ltd, part of the Love Recruitment Group of brands (“LFJ”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, registering as a candidate, or posting a vacancy as an employer, you agree to be bound by these Terms, forming a legally binding agreement between you and Love Recruitment Ltd. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data and forms part of these Terms by reference.

2. About Love Fitness Jobs

Love Fitness Jobs is a specialist job board and recruitment brand within the fitness and leisure sector, connecting candidates with employers across the industry. The Site is powered by our recruitment platform, Teamtailor, and job board technology, JBoard.

3. Using the Site as a candidate

  • You may browse job vacancies and, where you choose to register, create a candidate profile and submit applications
  • You are responsible for ensuring that any information you provide, including your CV and profile details, is accurate, current and not misleading
  • You must not impersonate any other person or misrepresent your qualifications, experience or right to work
  • Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, offer, or placement; decisions on individual vacancies rest with the relevant employer and/or Love Recruitment Ltd

4. Using the Site as an employer or client

  • You may post vacancies and search or receive candidate profiles in accordance with any separate terms of business agreed with Love Recruitment Ltd
  • You are responsible for ensuring that any job postings are lawful, accurate and non-discriminatory, and comply with UK employment and equality legislation. We do not guarantee the accuracy of job listings and encourage candidates to carry out their own due diligence
  • You are solely responsible for the content of your job listings and any consequences arising from posting inaccurate or misleading information
  • Any fees, exclusivity arrangements or rebate terms relating to recruitment services are governed by a separate agreement or terms of business between you and Love Recruitment Ltd, and not by these Terms alone

5. Account registration and security

Where the Site requires you to register an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity carried out under your account. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

6. Acceptable use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • Post or upload any content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable
  • Harass, intimidate or threaten other users of the Site, or any Love Recruitment Ltd personnel
  • Use the Site to send unsolicited marketing or spam
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, other users’ accounts, or any underlying systems, including Teamtailor, JBoard or Indeed
  • Scrape, copy or reproduce job listings or candidate data from the Site other than through the normal, intended use of the service
  • Upload any material that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party

7. User content and licence

When you submit content to the Site, such as a CV, cover letter, candidate profile information, or a job listing (“User Content”), you confirm that it is accurate, that you have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it to the Site, you grant Love Recruitment Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, store, reproduce and share your User Content for the purposes of operating the Site and delivering our recruitment services, including matching candidates to roles and sharing relevant User Content with prospective employers or via third-party platforms such as Teamtailor, JBoard and Indeed. This licence ends when you delete the relevant content or close your account, except where we need to retain it to meet a legal obligation or as set out in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including the Love Fitness Jobs name, logo, branding and site design, is owned by or licensed to Love Recruitment Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, copy or use this content without our prior written consent, other than as reasonably necessary to use the Site for its intended purpose.

9. Third-party platforms

The Site relies on third-party platforms, including Teamtailor, JBoard and Indeed, to deliver core functionality such as candidate applications and job posting. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of these third-party systems, though we take reasonable steps to work with reputable providers and to keep your data secure while it is processed on our behalf.

10. Availability and changes to the Site

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, including adding, removing or changing features, without liability to you, though we will aim to give reasonable notice of any material changes where practical. We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Disclaimers and liability

We take reasonable care to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that job listings, candidate information or any other content on the Site is complete, accurate or error-free. We do not guarantee that use of the Site will result in a successful job placement or hire, and we are not responsible for the hiring decisions of employers using the Site.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Love Recruitment Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, even where we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Love Recruitment Ltd, its employees, agents and representatives against any claims, losses, liabilities or expenses arising from your misuse of the Site, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at our discretion, including where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, without affecting any other rights or remedies available to us.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
