This Is What Your Role Looks Like
You don't just build dashboards — you help define how data is consumed across Basic-Fit. As our Analytics Engineer, you'll be the person who makes data scalable, trusted, and ready for the future, including AI.
You'll join our central Data Platform Team, where you'll set standards, build semantic models, and create ways of working that help colleagues in Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Leadership make better decisions — fast, and without needing a data expert in the room. What you design today will be used across the entire organization, supporting millions of members across Europe.

Your Responsibilities
Set the standard: Define and drive Power BI standards for data models, visuals, performance, and governance.
Enable self-service: Create templates, guidelines, and best practices so teams can work with data independently.
Build for scale: Design and maintain shared dashboards and semantic models used across multiple departments.
Manage the core: Own core datasets, semantic layers, and shared business metrics.
Optimize: Improve Power BI performance, refresh strategies, and platform cost efficiency.
Govern access: Manage roles, row-level security, and access in collaboration with governance teams.
Collaborate with data engineers: Shape data models that work consistently in Power BI.
Simplify & standardize: Identify and consolidate existing reports and dashboards where possible.
Explore AI: Implement Power BI AI features such as Copilot, smart narratives, and anomaly detection.
Who Are You?
You're someone who cares about clarity, performance, and governance just as much as visual polish. You think in systems, not just in reports — and you get energy from creating structure that others can build on confidently.
You'll thrive here if most of this sounds familiar:
Strong hands-on Power BI experience, including Power BI Service (workspaces, apps, refresh, security).
Solid data modeling knowledge — facts, dimensions, measures — and how to make them scale.
Performance optimization mindset, including awareness of cost considerations.
Ability to translate business questions into clear, actionable visual insights.
Comfortable communicating in English in an international team environment.
Nice to have:
Experience with Databricks, SQL, or Power BI Premium / Fabric.
Familiarity with AI features in Power BI.
