Orama Studios is a growing Pilates studio committed to delivering high-quality, welcoming, and results-driven classes for women of all stages of life. Our mission is to create a space where our clients feel strong, supported, seen and confident both physically and mentally.
As we grow, we are looking for a Head Pilates Instructor to lead our instructor team, elevate class standards, and help shape the future of the studio.
Role Overview
The Head Instructor will be responsible for maintaining the quality, consistency, and culture of all classes delivered at the studio. This role combines teaching, leadership, and light operational oversight.
You will serve as the lead example for excellence in instruction, professionalism, and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Manage and support studio instructors
- Lead team meetings and provide ongoing feedback
- Assist with onboarding and training new instructors
- Ensure all instructors uphold studio standards and client experience
Class Programming
- Develop and oversee class programming
- Ensure variety, progression, and safety across all classes
- Maintain consistent teaching standards
- Conduct quarterly class audits and coaching sessions
Teaching
- Teach a set number of weekly classes
- Deliver high-energy, technically sound sessions
- Provide modifications and progressions for different ability levels
Client Experience
- Maintain a welcoming and professional studio environment
- Address client questions or concerns professionally
- Support community-building within the studio
- Be warm and welcoming to all clients
Operations Support
- Assist with scheduling and cover coordination
- Communicate with the studio owner regarding improvements and growth opportunities
- Support studio events, workshops, and special classes (such as pre/post natal)
Skills / Requirements
- Certified Pilates Instructor (Mat and/or Reformer required)
- Minimum [1–3] years teaching experience
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of anatomy and safe programming
- Confident, warm, and professional presence
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passion for building community and mentoring others

Pay: From £35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
