We are currently hiring a Pre/Post Natal Reformer Pilates Instructor to deliver high-quality, engaging and safe reformer classes for mothers and mothers to be.
Location: Nine Elms, Near Battersea Power Station
Contract: Freelance/Part-Time
Salary: From £25/Hour Depending On Experience
Contract: From 3 Months, Continuation Can Be Discussed Post Time Frame
Role Overview
This is a specialist position for an instructor with advanced knowledge of pregnancy and postpartum training. You will design and deliver safe, structured reformer classes tailored to pre- and post-natal clients, while helping us build a trusted reputation in women’s health.
You will play a key role in ensuring our maternity-focused classes are safe, empowering, and aligned with best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective pre- and post-natal reformer classes
- Provide appropriate modifications for all stages of pregnancy and postpartum recovery
- Monitor clients closely to ensure safe alignment and technique
- Create progressive class plans tailored to this demographic
- Foster a supportive, welcoming, and non-judgemental environment
- Communicate clearly and confidently about exercise safety
- Maintain high studio standards of professionalism and care
Skills / Requirements
- Certified Reformer Pilates qualification
- Accredited Pre/Post Natal Pilates certification
- Strong understanding of pregnancy and postpartum physiology
- Confident modifying exercises safely
- Warm, empathetic, and professional approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable and well-organised
Requirements:
- 1+ years teaching experience
- Experience teaching small-group maternity classes
- Knowledge of pelvic floor rehabilitation principles
- Additional women’s health training - not required
- Warm, empathetic, and reassuring presence
- Clear and professional communication style
- High attention to detail and client safety
