Everyone Active is an award winning organisation than manages leisure facilities. We are currently seeking an ambitious and self-motivated individual to take on this role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of maintenance across the sites in Derby, East Staffordshire, South Derbyshire and Melton
We need a Contract Maintenance Manager who will…
- Manage the day-to-day reactive maintenance as well as the PPM across the sites
- Have the technical skills to deal with ‘hands on’ maintenance tasks
- Be able to lead and motivate a diverse team fully embracing our company values
- Have a good understanding of IT packages in order to prepare reports and operate BMS and PPM systems
- Think on their feet and find solutions to the many challenges that may occur
- Have good time management skills and be able to prioritise work
- Drive maintenance standards, compliance and completion across the area
- Manage contractor feedback and improvement
- Help to control Maintenance Budgets and ensure value for money from suppliers and contracted works
- Communicate with colleagues across the area to ensure they can succeed
- Help to identify, cost & implement energy saving initiatives
- Conduct Maintenance and Energy Audits of sites – Generate reports and actions
Formal qualifications in a technical discipline is desirable, however additional training including Pool Plant will be provided. While this role is predominantly office hours, a degree of flexibility is essential as some evenings , night and weekend working will be required.
It is desirable that the successful candidate will have experience managing facilities and/or major plant, managing and communicating with a team. Also with experience in Health & Safety management.
Frequent travel between sites will be required.
