ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE
The post holder will report directly to the General Manager and will be required to take full responsibility for Operations at the outdoor venue ensuring the highest standards are maintained. The post holder will ensure that the service provided meets the client expectations as well as consistently driving the commercial performance for the business.
JOB PURPOSE
The main purpose of the Operations Manager is to Coordinate with the General Manager in achieving the safe Operational delivery of site operations and deliver on activities and targets across the site(s), to ensure all Events, Catering outlets, Retail spaces and other public areas achieve their full potential and ensure the standards are achieved to compliment support Operations.
Reporting to the General Manager
The Pavilion Gardens Operations Manager position involves coordinating site operations, ensuring health and safety compliance, and managing staff rotas and training. Key responsibilities include overseeing preventative and reactive maintenance, monitoring visitor experience standards, and managing the operational delivery of events and activities. The role requires a unified approach to site management, working across departments, and being available for evening and weekend work as needed
THE CANDIDATE
Qualifications, skills and knowledge
The successful candidate may be educated ideally to a degree standard in the relevant area or equivalent industry experience.
The candidate will also require excellent communication skills including the ability to produce reports.
The candidate will ideally have key skills in Operation Management
