Maintenance Technician
Location: Travelling across 6 sites (Brackley, Towcester, Spiceball, Kidlington, Bicester, and Woodgreen)
Salary: Up to £28,500 per annum
Contract Type: Full-Time
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our contract maintenance team, travelling across six of our leisure sites in the West Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire area.
In this role, you will be responsible for keeping our facilities safe, functional, and presented to the highest standards. You will complete planned, routine, breakdown, and reactive maintenance across all designated sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out general building maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and decorating tasks.
Perform routine and reactive maintenance work within swimming pool plant rooms.
Respond promptly to breakdown requests and emergency repair needs across all six locations.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to facility users.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and administrative records using standard software/systems.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and outgoing individual with a strong all-round maintenance background. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Background: Proven experience across multiple trades, including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and decorating (covering all disciplines).
Occupied Property Experience: Prior experience working in busy, operational, or customer-facing environments.
Flexibility: It is imperative that you are flexible to work variable day or night shifts on any day of the week to suit business demands.
Work Ethic & Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, strong pride in your work, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding role.
Teamwork & Autonomy: Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team as well as using your own initiative when working independently.
Core Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, alongside good computer literacy.
