Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to join our team at Everyone Active based at Eastwood Leisure Centre you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our members while promoting a fun and healthy environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor swimming areas to ensure safety and enforce pool rules.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and administer first aid when necessary.
- Conduct regular safety checks of pool equipment and facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and safety checks.
- Provide excellent customer service to all visitors.
- Promote health and safety policies within the centre.
- Support the delivery of swimming lessons and water-based activities.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of safety and service.
- Qualifications
- Valid lifeguard certification (e.g., RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification).
- First aid certification.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of compliance management related to health and safety regulations.
- Enthusiasm for promoting active lifestyles.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
