Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Swimming Teacher to join our team in Surrey. Based at Eastwood Leisure Centre you will play a key role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons aligned with our mission to promote active lifestyles and healthy living.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging swimming lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to health and safety standards.
- Support members in achieving their swimming goals through personalized coaching.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress.
- Promote a positive environment that encourages participation and enjoyment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative programs.
- Uphold the company's commitment to inclusive and accessible activities.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching swimming or sports coaching.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate learners.
- Relevant certifications such as ASA/STA Level 1 or 2 Swimming Teaching qualification.
- Passion for promoting health and physical activity.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to aquatic activities.
- Enthusiasm for engaging with diverse community groups.
- Flexibility to adapt lessons based on participant needs.
