Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Duty Manager to join our team at Everyone Active in Woking. Based at Eastwood Leisure Centre this role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional service that aligns with our mission to promote active living within the community.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the leisure centre to ensure a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment.
- Lead and supervise staff to maintain high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
- Coordinate with local authorities and partners to support community engagement initiatives.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of recreational programs and activities.
- Monitor facility maintenance and cleanliness standards.
- Support promotional activities to increase centre membership and participation.
- Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or managerial experience within leisure, sports, or community centres.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to leisure facilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with community engagement or partnership development is advantageous.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is not essential but beneficial.
