Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and efficient operations across our centers. This role involves overseeing daily activities, managing staff, optimizing processes, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all aspects of our leisure facilities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about health and community engagement, with strong leadership and organizational skills to drive success.
Duties
- Supervise daily center operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, safety, and cleanliness
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and stock control to ensure optimal supply levels
- Manage payroll, budgeting, and financial records with accuracy and transparency
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase member engagement and sales
- Implement merchandising strategies and pricing policies aligned with company goals
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, store policies, and operational procedures
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail or leisure environments, including supervisory or assistant manager roles
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse teams and customers
- Extensive knowledge of retail sales management, inventory control, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on team management and customer service excellence
- Strong communication skills coupled with phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with marketing strategies, merchandising, stock replenishment, and store management practices
- Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
