Ward Shifts are: Long days 07.30am-20.00pm and nights are 20.00pm -07.30am On average 4 night a month. 14 shifts per month

As a Senior Staff Nurse at our Nuffield Health Highgate Hospital you will be NMC registered and have significant post‐registration experience in an acute or relevant clinical setting. You will have strong clinical decision‐making, problem‐solving, and time management skills. You will have the proven ability to lead, mentor, and support a nursing team of multi-specialty surgical proceduresand you will bring knowledge of mentoring and multi-specialty surgical procedures. Ideally, you hold qualifications in teaching,, assessment and management.
As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will:
· Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring
· Recognise talent and nurture junior colleagues, mentoring them to be the best they can be
· Use your excellent clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each patient’s needs
· Enjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient care
· Provide day-to-day supervision, including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students
· Contribute to scheduling and rotas, recruitment, induction, performance reviews and training
