Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Assistant to join our team at Everyone Active in Tudor Grange Leisure Centre. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our leisure centres, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors. The position is based in Tudor Grange Leisure Centre and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to community health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas within the leisure centres, including gyms, pools, changing rooms, and public spaces.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Support the team in creating a hygienic environment for staff and visitors.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and reliability.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to different shifts or tasks.
- Previous experience in leisure or sports facilities is a plus.
