Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Assistant to join our team at Everyone Active at Lings Forum Leisure Centre. Based in our vibrant leisure centre in Northampton, this role is vital in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our members and staff. Your contribution will help us foster a healthy and active community.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across various areas of the leisure centres to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used efficiently.
- Follow health and safety protocols to provide a safe environment for all visitors.
- Support the team in preparing facilities for daily activities and special events.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures.
- Contribute to a positive atmosphere by maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
- Strong communication skills to follow instructions clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driving license is a plus but not essential.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
- Fluency in English is required.
