Job Overview
We are looking for passionate and energetic Dance Fitness Instructors to join our team in Haringey. Our classes blend Afro-Caribbean rhythms and movement with fitness — from old school R&B to Afrobeats, Dancehall, and Reggae — creating a fun and empowering workout experience.
The ideal instructor will have a strong background in group fitness and dance, with the ability to motivate and inspire participants of all levels. This role is perfect for someone who loves movement, enjoys building community, and can bring creativity and energy to every class.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging, high-energy dance fitness classes that celebrate Afro-Caribbean culture and music.
- Incorporate elements of other fitness modalities where appropriate (e.g., Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, cycling).
- Create safe, effective, and inclusive workouts tailored to a wide range of participants.
- Educate participants on proper form and body mechanics.
- Build a welcoming, supportive community atmosphere that keeps participants coming back.
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience teaching group fitness or dance-based fitness classes.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and safe training principles.
- A background in dance (Afro-Caribbean styles, Zumba, dancehall, hip-hop, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Confident, energetic, and motivational teaching style.
- Excellent communication and people skills.

Pay: £40.00-£45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 3 per week
