Food and Beverage Assistant (Weekends and Seasonal only)
Duties:
- Assist with food preparation and presentation in a catering or restaurant setting
- Serve food and beverages to customers or guests
- Set up and break down banquet or event spaces
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during events
Skills:
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if required
