The Role
We’re looking for a driven and enthusiastic Management Accountant. In this pivotal role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality financial insight and control within our dynamic, private equity-backed global personal training business. You will be responsible for producing accurate management accounts and analysis to support strategic decisions.
Reporting to our Senior Finance Manager, and working closely with the senior finance team you will ensure financial transparency, monitor key performance indicators, and support initiatives that drive profitability and growth.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts for up to five countries.
- Managing cost centre reporting where required.
- Full ownership of balance sheet accuracy and reconciliations.
- Take ownership of accurate stock counts and monthly stock revaluations.
- Support the Senior Finance Manager in monlthy MI meetings with insights comparing actuals to budget and forecast.
- Assist Senior Finance Manager and Financial Accountant with corporate and tax statutory requirements across multiple regions.
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure compliance and reconciliation accuracy, payroll taxes, pensions etc are all paid to appropriate deadlines.
- Assist the Senior Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects on process improvement within finance.
- Coaching junior team members and supporting team development.
What we’re looking for
- Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or working towards.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and Excel skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment is a plus.
- Experience producing management accounts and analysis to tight deadlines
- Strong background in variance analysis, cost control, and performance reporting.
