You will manage all aspects of projects from commencement to completion. You will monitor all budgets against current spending and report back to managers on an agreed regular time scale and will have the ability to drive continued improvement in process and cost.
The role requires good construction and building services knowledge, as well as pools and Spas. Excellent budgetary control, project planning and multiple stakeholder management skills are essential to success.
The main site office is at our Hatfield club. The Delivery Project Manager Role is a hybrid role working at new developments, local clubs or at home.
You will be required to:
- Arrange/attend scope meeting with GPM, Operations Team, club, contractors
- Follow Stage processes for design, tender, construction, handover & review
- Liaise with Structural Engineers where applicable
- Understand H&S elements/CDM/Building Safety relating to your projects
- Agree phasing and programme to share with Ops
- Review and negotiate M and E and Builders Costs with GPM assistance
- Populate/set up internal admin
- Make changes to scope to achieve budget and get Product/Operations team/GPM feedback and signoff on changes
- Revise drawings through Architect and potentially update costs
- Arrange and run Pre-start meetings
- Deal with Marketing on issuing and relevant comms
- Agree variations and associated costs. Getting signoff on variations if applicable from GPM
- Update Admin/ Admin spreadsheets/ Project Files
- Agree final account with main contractors
- Achieve cost control and budgets.

About you:
- At least five years practical experience of carrying out and managing projects of a similar nature.
- An appropriate building qualification to HND level (preferred)
- Good understanding of appropriate health and safety legislation, CDM and latest asbestos regulations.
- Have a good building construction and building services knowledge.
- Must have experience of liaising with Architects, Statutory Bodies, Contractors, M&E, Structural Engineers, Principal Designers (CDM), Operations Teams.
