Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Recreational Assistant or Lifeguard to join our team at one of our vibrant leisure centres in Woking. In this role, you will contribute to promoting health and wellbeing by ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Supervise swimming pools and recreational activities to ensure safety standards are met.
- Provide excellent guest services to members and visitors.
- Assist with the management of leisure facilities and equipment.
- Support the delivery of engaging sports and recreational programs.
- Enforce safety rules and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- Promote a positive environment that encourages community participation.
- Qualifications
- Relevant lifeguard or pool management certification.
- Experience in hospitality or guest services is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to leisure facilities.
- Enthusiasm for promoting active lifestyles.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
