Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Duty Manager to oversee daily operations at our leisure centres in Winchester. This role is vital in ensuring our facilities run smoothly and provide exceptional service to our community, aligning with our mission to promote health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the leisure centre to ensure high standards of service.
- Lead and motivate staff to deliver excellent guest experiences.
- Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly followed.
- Coordinate maintenance and cleanliness of the facilities.
- Support the implementation of community engagement activities.
- Assist in staff training and development.
- Collaborate with local authorities and partners to enhance centre offerings.
- A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and PPO are desirable.
- Proven experience in management within a leisure, hospitality, or customer service environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to leisure facilities.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Preferred: experience working with community programs or sports management.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs.
