Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Swim Teacher to join our team in Acton. Based at one of our vibrant centres in the area, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons that support our mission to promote physical activity and well-being within the community.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective swimming lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during swimming sessions.
- Assess swimmers' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a clean and safe pool environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Promote a positive learning environment that encourages confidence and enjoyment.
- Support the development of swimming programs aligned with Swim England standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall experience for members.
- Contribute to the ongoing promotion of Everyone Active’s mission to encourage active participation.
Qualifications
- Relevant swimming teaching qualification (e.g., ASA/STA Level 2 Swimming Teacher Award).
- Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to swimming pools.
- Previous experience in delivering swimming lessons is preferred.
- Enthusiasm for promoting active lifestyles within the community.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
- A friendly, approachable manner with excellent interpersonal skills.

Pay: £20.84 per hour
