The Food & Beverage Assistant is a great position to be able to carry out and be involved in the full range of catering activities. Continually customer facing, the role provides rewarding opportunities. Meeting new people, variation in both activities and learning provides an exciting working day, every day, for our Food & Beverage assistants.
The Job
The primary objective of your role would be:
The Food and Beverage Assistant will focus day to day on the following tasks:
To prepare and serve food and drinks in a safe and hygienic way.
Providing friendly, helpful service to all customers.
Helping keep work areas clean, organised and welcoming.
To ensure that all food is covered, stored, labelled and dated to meet the food safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995 or the terms of subsequent legislation.
Handling payments and following cash handling procedures.
Following health, safety and food hygiene guidelines at all times.
Working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service
To ensure that all injuries involving staff and members of the public are reported to your line manager.
To record any complaints and to pass to your line manager
To ensure all Health and Safety procedures are carried out at all times.
To undertake cleaning duties as required.
To undertake any other duties needed to support the wider team.
