Summary
We are seeking Recreation Assistant/Lifeguards to join our team at our leisure centre at Lings Forum. This role is vital in providing a safe, enjoyable environment for our members and supporting our mission to promote active living within the community.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of all visitors by monitoring activities and enforcing safety rules.
- Perform lifeguard duties including rescues and first aid when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the facility.
- Assist with the organization of recreational activities and programs.
- Provide excellent customer service to members and visitors.
- Support compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Promote a positive environment that encourages participation in physical activities.
- Valid lifeguard certification (e.g., RLSS Pool Lifeguard or equivalent). Training provided.
- First aid qualification.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a leisure or aquatic environment is desirable.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to leisure facilities.
