Job Purpose:
We’re looking for someone to deliver exceptional Baby Swim lessons for Total Fitness members and non-members, to ensure the correct swimming safety procedures are always followed and to provide excellent customer service, making a difference to people's lives through teaching them to swim.
We recognise that members require post lesson feedback which we allow for in our scheduling, each lesson is 30 minutes + 10 minutes feedback, your time fully paid for.
Key Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a Qualified Baby Swim Teacher to cover across the Swim Programme
- Deliver lessons in accordance with association guidelines
- Create a fun and positive pool experience
- Guarantee the highest levels of safety at every session
- Support the Poolside Experience Manager with any queries regarding member progress
- Maintain accurate records of all members
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardian of babies/toddlers participating in lessons
Ideal Skills for the Role:
- Someone in a position to be Self-Employed

- You’ll bring the best you can each day to create opportunities for yourself and for others
- You will have an STA Aquatic Teaching Baby and Pre-School Swimming or Swim England Level 2 Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers qualification
- A successful record of teaching children to swim - freelance and employed
- Perseverance and patience
- A natural coach who takes pride in planning and delivering pool lessons
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with parents
- A genuine passion and active involvement in poolside activities
