This role supports our PR and marketing activity, responsible for developing, creating and managing compelling content, including managing influencer and athlete partnerships to support our brand campaigns.
The Champions scheme from Everyone Active has evolved over the past year, with the launch of the Community Champions and Colleague Champions in 2025. The scheme’s growth has been built on the industry-leading Sporting Champions programme, which gives talented athletes the opportunity to make use of training facilities and mentoring sessions to further their burgeoning careers.
The role will include:
- Management of the Sporting Champions social media strategy, including day-to-day administration of the channels and liaising with the more than 1,400 athletes on the scheme
- Support on the management, design and creation of content for brand campaigns, including leading on influencer relationships to reach wider audiences and being aware of the latest industry and social trends
- Shape best-in-class practices by developing campaign guidelines and processes that ensure every initiative is aligned, consistent and impactful
- Lead a social content plan that elevates the Everyone Active brand and Champions campaign, and also support business priorities and open doors for engagement with local authority partners
- Share content and collaborate across the wider teams, including digital, marketing and sales
· Draft and coordinate content for the twice-yearly Sporting Champions digital magazine: Behind the Line
- Support the regional PR team to compile and share coverage reports
What do you need?
- Previous experience within a PR, social media or marketing role
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills. As well as the ability to manage all communication with various stakeholders and internal departments, and external talent / agencies
- Experience monitoring and reporting on social media performance and using insights to evaluate campaigns
- Experience of content creation / social media management, including design through tools such as Canva
- Strong written skills, which show creative flair and a strong eye for detail
- Highly organised and good understanding of how to work as part of a team to deliver exceptional results
- To be comfortable standing up and presenting to all levels of stakeholder

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
