Job Purpose:
Support the growth of our people strategy within the poolside operation within the core Wilmslow club. Building a high performing team of lifeguards, whilst maintaining stability of existing team members performance. You know you and your team are successful when your team exhibit high levels of engagement and team-ship, ownership and responsibility, while delivering exceptional departmental service and performance

Key Responsibilities:
- To support the building, forming and retention of our lifeguard team
- To create an environment for our Lifeguards of team-performance through trust, challenge and accountability
- Accountable for overall lifeguard team performance including people, daily operation, safety and compliance
- To take the lead in interacting and communicating with members and team members alike, to measure current operational and experience performance, while actively seeking additional opportunities to improve effectiveness on poolside
- To seek and provide necessary training and development to enable our team members to grow within their roles
- To prepare regular updates to the Operations Manager to support the effectiveness and efficiency of our lifeguard team
Ideal Skills for the Role:
- This position requires a valid and current NPLQ
- A successful track record of leading and managing people
- To be forward thinking
- Able to think on your feet
- Energetic "get up and go" energy
