Delta Tennis Centre is seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly motivated Head Tennis Coach to lead and grow our tennis programming. The Head Tennis Coach will oversee player development, manage coaching staff, coordinate programs and events, and help cultivate a positive, inclusive, and high-performance tennis environment for players of all ages and skill levels.
This leadership role is ideal for a passionate tennis professional who thrives in building programs, mentoring coaches, and developing athletes from grassroots to competitive level.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching & Player Development
* Design and deliver high-quality group and private lessons for juniors and adults
* Develop long-term athlete development pathways
* Lead high-performance and competitive training programs
* Identify and mentor talented players for tournament progression
* Provide match analysis and performance feedback
* Run Tournaments for all age groups
Staff Leadership & Management
* Recruit, mentor, and evaluate coaching staff
* Schedule coaches and oversee lesson allocations
* Lead regular team meetings and professional development sessions
* Ensure consistent coaching standards across all programs
Program Development & Operations
* Develop and manage seasonal programs, camps, leagues, and clinics
* Coordinate internal tournaments and special events
* Assist with budgeting and revenue growth initiatives
* Monitor program enrolment and retention strategies
* Ensure safety standards and facility policies are upheld
Community Engagement
* Build relationships with members, parents, and local organisations
* Promote programs through outreach and community initiatives
* Support club marketing efforts and member engagement
* Engage with local schools in the area and deliver high quality schools' tennis
Qualifications and experience
* Minimum 5+ years coaching experience (including competitive player development)
* LTA Level 3 Coach Minimum
* LTA Accredited +
* Qualified LTA Referee
* Strong leadership and staff management experience
* Proven ability to grow programs and increase participation
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
