The Role
We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager who is a hands-on, execution-focused leader responsible for owning and delivering operational execution across LEC Robotics.
This role exists to turn strategy, systems, and priorities into consistent operational output. The Senior Operations Manager is expected to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and take direct ownership of outcomes — not merely coordinate or advise.
The role requires initiative, accountability, and a bias toward action. Where operational work is required, the Senior Operations Manager is expected to execute directly rather than defer, escalate unnecessarily, or remain at a purely supervisory level.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Execution & Delivery
- Owning day-to-day operational execution across LEC Robotics
- Implementing and running operational systems, processes, and workflows designed by or in coordination with the Head of Operations
- Ensuring standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed, maintained, and continuously improved
- Managing operational dependencies across teams, suppliers, and functions
Systems, Process & Scale Support
- Operate and maintain core operational systems (e.g. task management, documentation, reporting tools)
- Support the rollout and adoption of new systems and processes across the team
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, or breakdowns and propose improvements
- Ensure operational systems remain scalable as the business grows
- Support documentation and upkeep of operational playbooks and procedures
Commercial & Business Enablement
- Ensure operational readiness to support sales, marketing, and commercial activity
- Coordinate operational requirements for product launches, distributor activity, and customer delivery
- Monitor operational capacity and constraints impacting revenue or growth
- Identify and mitigate operational risks that could affect commercial performance
- Support cross-functional execution where operations intersects with sales, marketing, or finance
Contribution Beyond Core Operations
- Contribute to broader business initiatives where operational expertise adds value
- Support cross-functional projects when required
- Assist senior leadership with problem-solving related to scalability, delivery, and execution
- Take ownership of ad-hoc operational challenges as they arise

· Strong hands-on operational capability, with a clear bias toward execution rather than advisory or oversight-only work
· Experience implementing, running, and maintaining operational processes and systems
· Ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently while maintaining delivery quality and timelines
· Strong organisational, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills
· Commercial awareness, with an understanding of how operations supports sales, revenue, and business growth
· Experience coordinating across teams, functions, and external partners
· Comfortable working with operational data, dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting
· Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
· High level of ownership, accountability, and sound judgment
· Ability to operate independently while aligning closely with senior leadership direction
