Embassy of Beauty is a premium beauty retail, treatment, and distribution business based in the heart of Kensington. We operate across three core revenue streams:
- Luxury clinic & retail space
- E-commerce
- B2B distribution
We are now seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead the next phase of our growth. This is a high-impact role for a commercially driven, hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic, multi-channel businesses and is excited to build, scale, and refine a premium brand.
This is not a purely strategic role. We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable shaping vision and executing day-to-day operations.
The Role
The General Manager will take full ownership of the business performance across all three divisions. You will be responsible for driving growth, strengthening operational excellence, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring a seamless and premium customer experience across clinic, online, and distribution channels.
You will work closely with the Directors to translate strategy into results, with full accountability for P&L, team performance, and operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial & Strategic Leadership
- Own and deliver the overall business strategy across clinic, e-commerce, and distribution
- Identify and execute growth opportunities, partnerships, and new revenue streams
- Set and deliver ambitious but realistic sales, margin, and profitability targets
- Ensure strong commercial decision-making based on data, market insight, and performance metrics
2. Multi-Channel Operations
- Clinic & Retail:
- Ensure outstanding client experience and clinical excellence
- Drive utilisation, productivity, and operational efficiency
- Maintain compliance with UK regulations and best practice
- E-commerce:
- Own performance of the online channel including conversion, AOV, retention, and fulfilment
- Oversee digital marketing, UX, stock flow, and operational execution
- Distribution:
- Lead B2B supply chain, stock planning, logistics, and partner relationships
- Improve forecasting, inventory health, and delivery performance
- Integration:
- Create a seamless brand and customer journey across all channels
- Ensure consistent messaging, pricing, service standards, and operational alignment
3. Financial Ownership
- Full P&L responsibility
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
- Margin optimisation, cost control, and performance improvement
- Clear and insightful reporting to the Board
4. Leadership & Culture
- Build, inspire, and develop a high-performing management team
- Create a culture of accountability, clarity, and excellence
- Drive recruitment, retention, and talent development
- Set clear KPIs and performance expectations
5. Brand & Customer Experience
- Protect and elevate the Embassy of Beauty brand positioning
- Partner with marketing to deliver integrated campaigns
- Champion customer experience and long-term loyalty
- Ensure the business feels premium at every touchpoint
Who We’re Looking For
This role suits someone commercially sharp, operationally strong, and naturally decisive. You are comfortable leading from the front and enjoy building structure in growing businesses.
Experience
- 8–12+ years in senior leadership roles (GM, Operations Director, or similar)
- Proven ownership of P&L and business performance
- Experience managing multi-channel operations (retail + e-commerce + logistics/distribution)
- Strong growth track record
- Beauty, wellness, luxury retail, or premium consumer brands strongly preferred
