As Health and Fitness Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the whole of the gym team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the gym and leisure facility, delivering the highest level of customer service. The gym team is responsible for ensuring all individual & Personal Training/Small Group Training targets are achieved. You will work with the management team, reporting directly to the Head of Golf and Leisure.
The successful candidate will require competence and experience in the management of shifts, along with Pool Plant Operations, emergency pool response, and delivering fitness-based activities such as gym inductions, program reviews, and classes as part of the fitness team.
- The day to day running of the leisure club including the gym and pool facilities
- Working closely with the gym team to deliver ensure we are meeting members needs delivering a smooth customer journey
- Meeting targets for Personal training , membership retention , class participation and facility audits
- Work closely with the wider Peake team to support guest and member experience
- Developing, implementing and executing a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to achieve the budgeted revenue targets for: Membership, Personal Training, Group Activity sales
- Providing staff training to maximise upselling opportunities (Personal Training)
- Overseeing the management of Peake Fitness memberships
- Actioning and measuring points raised in all member and guest feedback activities
- Developing and delivering team training plans to upskill and develop all team members
- Attending weekly guest feedback and operational meetings
- Ensure 100% adherence to company Health & Safety policies and report any concerns
- Experience in management or supervisory position
- The ability to lead and motivate a team
- A good level of understanding of health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication skills

- Level 3 Personal Trainer Qualification
- First Aid at Work & ER-Pool (desired)
