Job Purpose
We recruit the right people for the right role and keep them for longer by ensuring all new starters at Total Fitness are on-boarded in a structured, welcoming and supportive manner.
At this pivotal moment of all new starters career pathway the Recruitment & On-boarding Lead takes the leading role to ensure, every aspect of the ‘new starter’s’ journey is a positive and seamless one.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously improving the recruitment and on-boarding processes – ensuring materials and approach are reviewed and updated regularly
- Conducting telephone interviews for candidates
- Headhunting and building relationships with LinkedIn and Indeed to ensure the attraction of the best talent
- Market research and competitor analysis
- Workforce planning support
- Monitoring reviews on Indeed to continuously improve our employee journey
- Reviewing & amending job adverts where necessary to ensure they are as attractive to candidates as possible
- Involvement in staff retention strategies
- Co-ordinate inductions and the onboarding process
- Conduct HR recruitment training with management
- Report of key recruitment KPI’s, such as application numbers, attendance at recruitment assessments & retention all managed through the recruitment tracker
- Support in co-ordinating behavioral assessments for all roles

- Experienced recruitment specialist in a fast paced and reactive industry
- Excellent people skills

- At least a Level 3 CIPD or equivalent experience in a recruitment role
