We are looking for a Duty Manager at our Altrincham Club to support the Facilities Manager in keeping the club running smoothly and safely.
It’s a practical, fast-paced role where you’ll take responsibility for opening and closing the club, completing essential safety checks, supporting the team, and making sure every member has a great experience.
What you'll do
- Open and close the club in line with company guidelines
- Make sure the club is fully operational at all times during your shift
- Carry out all daily health and safety checks and ensure we meet all regulations
- Lead and support colleagues while maintaining high standards across the club
- Support the growth of the club by helping retain existing members and welcoming new ones
- Respond to member questions or issues quickly, professionally and with great service
- Step up and take responsibility for the club when the Facilities Manager is not on shift
What you bring
- Experience in facilities, operations or a similar hands-on role
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- A calm, flexible approach — no two days are the same
- Good knowledge of the health and fitness environment (or a willingness to learn quickly)
- Confident communication and the ability to work well with members and colleagues
- Self-motivated, reliable, and proud to represent high standards
