We’re looking for someone to lead a team of Swimming Teachers to deliver swimming lessons that will maximise member experience, encourage repeat usage and subsequent, customer lifetime value.
We’re open 7 days a week and you’ll be required to work shifts that include both early and late working patterns and these shifts will be on weekdays and some weekends throughout the course of the month.
The Swim Programme Manager role is a 24 hour position (Salary: £16,000) with the option to make up 16 hours additionally by Lifeguarding (£10.59-£12.21 per hour) or Swimming Teaching (£15 per hour).

- Effective recruitment by selecting the right members for the pool team using a combination of competency and values-based criteria
- Support and enable our teams throughout their career journey so they can be the best version of themselves
- Take ownership for the entire pool environment, providing a team and member experience that is fun, engaging and compliant
- Be the principal member of the Leadership team on days when required to perform Senior Manager On Duty Shifts
- Ensure that you have a large enough, consistent and varied pool lesson program (child/adult) with enough participants to achieve pool revenue targets
- Provide a consistent and varied pool programme that match the needs of our members and encourages repeat usage and high levels of member recommendations
What you bring
- Level 2 Pool Teacher (essential- or equivalent experience) with extensive experience of delivering 1:1 and group pool lessons (child/adult) and Level 3 Swim Co-ordinator (desirable)
- A role model who lives and breathes our Total Fitness Values on a daily basis
- A successful track record of leading and managing a diverse group of swimming professionals
- A natural coach who takes pride in developing their team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels throughout the company
- A genuine passion and active involvement in fitness and swimming
- A talent for change management through successful implementation and sustainability
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
