Are you an experienced fitness professional with a passion for health, wellbeing, and leadership? Park Hall Hotel and Spa, part of the prestigious Radisson Individuals brand, is seeking a proactive and motivated Gym Manager to oversee the operations of our leisure club and fitness facilities.
About the Role
As Gym Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the gym, ensuring the highest standards of safety, service, and guest satisfaction. You will lead a small team of leisure staff, drive membership engagement, and deliver an exceptional fitness experience for both hotel guests and leisure club members.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the gym and leisure facilities.
- Lead, train, and motivate the leisure team to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ensure health & safety standards are met, including equipment checks and compliance.
- Develop and deliver fitness programmes, classes, and member engagement initiatives.
- Promote memberships and support sales/marketing activities to grow the club.
- Monitor budgets, performance targets, and maintain high facility standards.
- Work collaboratively with the wider hotel team to enhance the guest experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor qualification - essential.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a gym, leisure, or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of fitness, wellbeing, and health & safety practices.
- Customer-focused with the ability to build rapport and inspire members.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
