JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Personal Trainer to join our team and help members achieve their fitness goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of exercise science, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to motivate and inspire others. As a Personal Trainer, you will design and implement customised fitness programs, provide expert guidance on exercise techniques, and foster a supportive and encouraging environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary objectives for a Personal Trainer are:
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of your clients using the health and fitness facilities
To promote excellence in customer service.
To motivate people to enjoy physical activity and reach their fitness goals.
To design and implement safe and effective personalized fitness programs tailored to individual client goals and needs.
To promote healthy living outside of the gym environment with a focus on nutrition, sleep and mental health.
The Personal Trainer will focus day to day on the following tasks:
To conduct fitness assessments, body composition scans and personal training sessions of the highest possible standard.
To be fully aware of Health and Safety within the gym, to constantly implement and assess procedures, drawing attention to unsafe practices and reporting to the management team.
To guide, support and assist all of your clients, finding appropriate means of motivation to help them achieve their fitness goals.
To demonstrate and instruct your clients on proper exercise techniques and equipment usage.
To lead small group training sessions.
To maintain accurate records, including assessment results, training plans, and progress notes always ensuring compliance to GDPR regulations.
To undertake any reasonable request to assist with the daily operations of the Centre.
THE CANDIDATE
Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess a recognised Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification as a minimum, and be willing to work variable hours, including some evenings and weekends.

Must have a commitment to ongoing professional development, stay up to date with exercise science and fitness industry trends.
Must be able to physically meet the demands of the role and role model a healthy lifestyle.
DBS
The position of Personal Trainer is classed as a regulated post and therefore requires a DBS Disclosure. Where the individual does not already hold a DBS Disclosure, it will be necessary for the post holder to be submitted for a DBS check.
This is a self employed position and you will pay the centre a monthly fee.
