JOB PURPOSE
We’re looking for someone organised and proactive to take on our Central Facilities Support Lead role, which is a pivotal link between the Regional Facilities Managers, Facilities Managers, Engineers and Facilities Coordinator. The role will be centrally office based at Wilmslow.
Working closely with the maintenance team and stakeholders, you’ll provide support to all areas of the facilities team in the business.
Responsibilities
- First point of contact for the clubs when support is needed. The remit of this support will be across the facilities department.
- Weekly check-ins with club Facilities Managers, managing job numbers and member experience.
- Support the Facilities coordinator in the daily allocation of all facility and fitness jobs reported with a focus on job priorities and time to fix.
- Taking ownership when jobs are reported through to completion, including Emergency works.
- Coordinate works with external contractors.
- Remote technical support where and when needed.
- Attend regular meetings or calls with key suppliers and contractors
- Keeping track of all capex projects recording all completion dates and highlighting shortfalls
- Ensure Health and Safety is of highest priority with RAMs available for all tasks
Requirements
- Experience in Facilities Management within the Leisure sector
- Technical understanding of dry and wet side club operations
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite in particular MS Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to engage with both internal and external stakeholders and contractors
