Everyone Active is currently seeking a high calibre positive, supportive and inclusive individual to take on this role to work as a theatre technician working across the Alban Arena and Eric Morecambe Centre, Harpenden. You will be play a key role, working within the technical team in the operation of stage performances, concerts and event preparation.
The position will involve working closely with external companies, directors, performers, and colleagues from the wider venue operation. The successful candidate will be a well-organised, self-motivated team player who is willing to support an extremely busy and fast-paced department. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to manage several projects at any one time, with the ability to prioritise tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual with a keen interest in Technical Theatre.
We need a Theatre Technician who will…
· Be able to support a diverse team fully embracing our company values.
· Support the smooth operation of the theatre performances and associated activities.
· Have basic knowledge of lighting and sound equipment in a theatrical environment
· Be fast thinking and adaptable
· Work closely with visiting companies to ensure their technical needs are met as economically as possible.
· Have experience of health, safety and quality standards within the industry
· Have previous experience of working in a Technical Theatre environment.
