We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Pilates Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Pilates techniques and a commitment to educating clients on the benefits of this practice. As a Pilates Instructor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals improve their strength, flexibility, and overall well-being through tailored classes that cater to various skill levels.
Duties
- Conduct engaging and effective Pilates classes for individuals or groups, ensuring that each session is tailored to meet the needs of participants.
- Educate clients on proper techniques and form to maximise benefits while minimising the risk of injury.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of anatomy and its application in Pilates exercises to enhance client performance and safety.
- Provide modifications and progressions for exercises based on individual client abilities and goals.
- Maintain a positive and motivating environment that encourages clients to achieve their fitness objectives.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Pilates and fitness coaching to continuously improve your teaching methods.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, providing support and guidance both during classes and in one-on-one interactions.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pilates Instructor from a recognised programme or institution is required.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy as it relates to movement and exercise is essential.
- Previous experience in sports coaching or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and inspire clients of all fitness levels.
- A passion for health, fitness, and wellness, coupled with a commitment to ongoing personal development in the field of Pilates instruction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as required by class schedules.
