We are currently looking for two part time Fitness Instructor who can undertake Gym Welcomes, Fitness Assessments and develop Personal Programmes for our customers.
Primary objectives for the Fitness Instructor will be:
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of everybody using the health and fitness facilities.
To promote excellence of customer service and motivate people to enjoy exercise through good communications and selling skills.
To take responsibility for all aspects of the daily operation of the health and fitness facilities.
To drive Brand Standards in the centre and keep the fitness areas in particular spotlessly clean at all times.
To undertake basic maintenance work as required, along with relevant safety checks.
To make sure all equipment and facilities are safe and secure when not in use.
To undertake any reasonable request to assist with the daily operations of the Centre.
To be aware of all Health and Safety issues within the Centre, and specifically the fitness and health facility, and to constantly implement and assess procedures, drawing attention to unsafe practices.
To guide, care for and assist all fitness users especially in areas of motivation, well-being, nutrition, and fitness testing.
The Person
You must be flexible, reliable, and enjoy working as part of a team.
You will possess the REPS level 2 or equivalent qualification and be willing to work variable hours, including some early mornings, evenings and weekends; as and when required. Although rotas are in place so shifts are clear.
Must be able to gain acceptance and respect from clients and the teams involved.
Must be able to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
Must be able to communicate at different levels of the organisation, both listen and direct.
A Welsh speaker is desirable, but not essential.
