We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Fitness Manager to lead our fitness team and enhance the overall experience for our members. As the Fitness Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and driving membership sales through effective communication and organisational strategies.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the fitness team, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Develop and implement fitness programmes that meet the needs of our members while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Manage administrative tasks related to scheduling, staffing, and member engagement.
Sell memberships and fitness services by effectively communicating the benefits of our offerings.
Maintain an organised environment that promotes safety and cleanliness within the facility.
Conduct regular team meetings to foster collaboration, share updates, and address any concerns.
Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to improve member satisfaction and retention.
Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in fitness management.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the fitness industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient in administrative tasks including scheduling, reporting, and record keeping.
Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills for effective member interaction.
Multilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging with a diverse membership base.
A passion for health and fitness, with an understanding of current trends in the industry.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £21,207.60-£26,509.50 per year

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week

Additional pay:
