Summary
As a Fitness Manager at Everyone Active, you will play a pivotal role in leading our fitness programs and motivating both staff and members to achieve their health goals. This position is crucial for enhancing our community's engagement with fitness and ensuring that our facilities provide an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the fitness department, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
- Develop and implement innovative fitness programs that cater to diverse community needs.
- Manage and mentor a team of fitness instructors, fostering a positive and motivating environment.
- Monitor member progress and provide personalised fitness advice to enhance their experience.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the fitness area.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote fitness events and initiatives.
- Manage budgets related to fitness programs and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the fitness or leisure industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in team management and staff development.
- Knowledge of sales management principles is an advantage.
