National Pool Lifeguard, First Aid at Work & Pool Plant Operators qualifications will need to be achieved within a set timescale if not qualified. This position will involve day, evening and weekend work, including public holidays and will also require a DBS check prior to starting
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of hotel staff to ensure efficient operation.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food services, to enhance guest experiences.
- Conduct regular inspections of the hotel facilities to maintain cleanliness and quality standards.
- Assist in training new staff members on best practices in guest services and hospitality.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and report any significant incidents to senior management.
Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of guest services and the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable.
- Proficient in human resources practices related to staff management and training.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
