Salary: €48,000 – €72,000 plus performance related bonus €10,000 per year plus 8 % holiday bonus (guaranteed)
About the Role
Are you ready to lead one of Amsterdam’s largest and most exclusive fitness clubs? We’re seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to oversee all aspects of operations, team performance, and member satisfaction for a premium fitness facility.
As General Manager, you will deliver a world-class experience for both members and staff, ensuring every detail reflects excellence. From managing day-to-day operations to driving growth and team development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of this high-end fitness destination.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and Inspire
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team, including personal trainers, fitness professionals, and hosts.
- Recognize individual strengths, foster talent, and drive ongoing development across your team.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration and excellence to achieve outstanding results.
Deliver Exceptional Service
- Ensure a 5-star experience for members across all touchpoints, including fitness, personal training, hygiene, and club ambiance.
- Engage with members regularly to anticipate needs and exceed expectations.
Drive Growth and Results
- Achieve intake targets and drive key revenue streams, such as personal training and additional club services.
- Develop and implement creative initiatives to boost member satisfaction and retention.
- Lead your team to consistently meet and exceed monthly targets.
Oversee Operations and Financials
- Manage the club’s P&L, budgeting, and overall financial performance.
- Provide accurate reporting and data-driven insights to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and implement effective strategies.
Build Strategic Partnerships
- Develop and maintain long-term B2B partnerships to enhance the club’s reputation and performance.
About You
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a senior manager in a high-end fitness club or luxury service industry.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills with expertise in hospitality, sales, and operations.
- Service-Oriented: A passion for delivering 5-star service with meticulous attention to detail.
- Leadership: A proactive mindset with the ability to inspire teams and achieve exceptional results under pressure.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- B2B Knowledge: Proven experience managing business partnerships.
