About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and reliable Yoga & Pilates Instructor to lead adult group classes in a welcoming and supportive environment. The role will start with two days 1 hour classes per week and if you can teach Yoga and Pilates is 4 days 1 hour classes per week, with the opportunity to grow into up to 3 morning and 3 lunchtime classes as demand increases.

Class Times

Morning classes:
6:00am – 7:00am or
7:00am – 8:00am
Lunchtime classes:
11:00am – 12:00pm or
12:00pm – 1:15pm

(Exact times to be agreed. Consistent weekly availability is required.)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and safe Yoga and/or Pilates classes tailored to different ability levels
Teach adult group classes of up to 20+ participants per session
Plan and structure classes to accommodate individual needs and goals
Demonstrate exercises clearly, offering modifications and progressions where needed
Observe participants’ technique and provide constructive feedback to support safe practice
Carry out basic pre-class health checks and communicate safety guidelines
Create a welcoming, positive atmosphere that encourages confidence and regular attendance
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the studio before and after classes
Support promotional activities and help grow class attendance over time

Requirements

Proven experience teaching group fitness classes, preferably Yoga and/or Pilates
Relevant Yoga and/or Pilates qualification (desirable)
Strong understanding of anatomy, movement, and injury prevention
Confident teaching groups of up to 20 adults
Excellent communication skills and a motivating teaching style
Reliable, organised, and able to commit to early morning and lunchtime sessions
Passion for health, wellbeing, and building a strong class community
Valid professional indemnity and public liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
First Aid Certificate
Legal right to work in the UK

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £30.00-£50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 8 per week
