Our mission is to motivate everyone to participate in at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity five times a week, promoting health and well-being within our communities.
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Swimming Assistant to join our team at Everyone Active in Pool in the park. In this role, based in Woking, you will support our swimming programs and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. Your contribution will help us promote active and healthy lifestyles aligned with our mission.
Responsibilities
- Assist with delivering swimming lessons and aquatic activities in accordance with established standards.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by monitoring activities and enforcing safety rules.
- Support qualified instructors during training sessions and events.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the pool area.
- Provide excellent customer service to members and visitors.
- Promote a positive environment that encourages participation and enjoyment.
- Support the implementation of swimming programs that cater to diverse community needs.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in sports coaching or aquatic activities is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to teach and motivate others.
- Knowledge of water safety standards and procedures.
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for promoting health and fitness.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications in swimming instruction or coaching are preferred.
- A commitment to providing inclusive and accessible services for all community members.
