Cyflwyno gwersi grŵp ac un-i-un i ystod o oedrannau a galluoedd fel rhan o’n Rhaglen Dysgu Nofio, gan ddilyn Fframwaith Dysgu Nofio Nofio Cymru.
Cyflwyno o leiaf 1 cwrs dwys yn ystod y flwyddyn o fewn ein Rhaglen Dysgu Nofio.
Cyflwyno gwersi o safon uchel yn unol â safonau a chynlluniau gwaith disgwyliedig y cwmni
Cyflwyno cymwyseddau diogelwch dŵr mewnol y cwmni “Nofio’n Fwy Diogel, Craffach, Cryfach
Cyflwyno gwersi yn y dŵr ac allan o’r dŵr, gan roi esboniadau a dangos technegau nofio priodol ar gyfer lefel sgiliau
Cynnal asesiadau parhaus a diweddaru cynnydd y plentyn drwy’r dabled ar ÿl pob gwers
Cadw at yr holl brotocolau iechyd a diogelwch fel y nodir ym mholisïau a gweithdrefnau’r cwmni
Rhaid meddu ar gymhwyster NRASTC a gallu goruchwylio eich sesiynau eich hun pan fo hynny’n ofynnol yn unol â’r NOP, EAP lleol
Parhau â’ch datblygiad proffesiynol drwy wahanol CPD a gynhelir gan y cwmni.
Uchafu cadw cyfranogwyr yr ysgol nofio drwy safonau ansawdd, cymhelliant a gofal cwsmer
Sicrhau cysylltiadau cyfathrebu cryf rhyngoch chi, y rheolwr nofio, derbynfa a rheolwyr dyletswydd

DBS
Mae swydd Athro Nofio yn cael ei dosbarthu fel swydd reoledig ac felly mae angen Datgeliad DBS. Bydd yn ofynnol cyflwyno’r ymgeisydd am wiriad DBS

Primary objective for the Swimming Teacher will be
- To deliver group and one to one lessons to a variety of ages and abilities as part of our Learn to Swim Programme, following the Swim Wales's Learn to Swim Framework.
- To deliver at least 1 crash course during the year within our Learn to Swim Programme.
- To deliver high quality lessons inline with the companies expected standards and schemes of work
- To deliver the companies internal water safety competencies Swim Safer, Smarter, Stronger
- To deliver both in and out of the water, providing explanations and demonstrating appropriate swimming techniques for skill level.
- To carry out continued assessments and update the child's progression via the tablet after each lesson.
- To adhere to all health and safety protocols as stipulated in the company's policies and procedures.
- Must hold a NRASTC qualification and lifeguard own sessions when subject to local NOP/EAP.
- To continue your professional development through various CPDs hosted by the company.
- To maximise the retention of swim school participants through quality standards, motivation and customer care.
- To ensure strong communication links between yourself, swim manager, reception and duty management.
- You will be passionate about always looking for ways to improve our swim lesson programme and better our service to swimmers and customers
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant Teaching qualification. SEQ Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification or equivalent. NPLQ or NRASTC Personal Among the personal characteristics sought the applicant
- Will be able to communicate well with both children and adults in a teaching setting.
- Will be able to gain acceptance and respect from colleagues and customers.
- Will be able to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and teachers.
- Will be able to meet the demands of the role by having some flexibility in their working hours when required.
- Will be able to communicate in the medium of Welsh would be essential
DBS
The position of Swimming Teacher is classed as a regulated post and therefore requires a DBS Disclosure. It will be necessary for the post holder to be submitted for a DBS check.
