As a Bank Ward Administrator at our Highgate Hospital, you will have both excellent communication and organisation skills so you can provide comprehensive clerical and practical support to the nursing team to ensure the smooth running of the Ward.
As a Bank Ward Administrator, you will:
- Support the nursing staff in all aspects of admin including arranging appointments, discharge planning, and make post op care calls to patients
- Greet and receive patients, visitors, and other members of staff to the wards in a polite and professional manner
- Ensure prompt answering of all telephone calls ensuring that all messages are relayed to the appropriate personnel
- Monitor and answer emails, coordinating with relevant departments
- Retrieve and prepare patient records prior to admission
- Accurately file and store all patient documentation on completion of stay
