We are looking for a Materials Co-Ordinator to support the Supply Chain function, you will be organised, a team player with attention to detail with IT skills and proven literacy and numeracy. We will encourage your curiosity to create working solutions to real day to day operational problem as you help us build a healthier nation.
As our Materials Co-Ordinator, you will learn to:
To lead and co-ordinate work activities within the Materials department to ensure that all goods and services purchased meet hospital requirements.
To lead and co-ordinate in the purchasing, inventory management and issue of stock using the appropriate procedures and systems
To support the Materials manager in the daily running of the department during periods of absence and ensure all Materials managers core tasks are completed.
Ensures orderly distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering materials and supplies where needed.
Co-ordinate the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
Maintains inventory by identifying, labelling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on departmental orders.

There are 80 bedrooms, an 8 bed Level 3 critical care unit and 6 theatres (2 Stryker laparoscopic and 2 laminar flow). We are close to the city centre and central railway station.
